We could easily reach Istana Alam Shah, set within 15 minutes’ walk. Perfect for city trip. We appreciated the food and rooms and low off-peak prices...

Fairly new hotel, clean and friendly staff.

The hotel double charged me for the stay. It charged my debit card on the 19/06/2012 for MYR 708 and again when I checked out. I have raised the matter with the manager Azizi and he promised to check with his bank today. If this is not resolved, I may need Booked.net assistance.

Convenient location

We had 4 rooms in total and I stayed in Room 210 which seemed unused for a while. Room had terrible damp, musky smell. Bathroom had no shower curtain or screen which makes the whole bathroom wet after a bath. There were also no hooks or place to hang clothes in bathroom. Room was also not properly cleaned as you can literally see dust and dirt in corners and furnishings. Wifi is only available in lobby of hotel.

I like the location of the hotel which gives easy access to shopping and food.

Breakfast in the hotel need to be improved. I think you should know better if you tried. Most of us who stayed there just took a drink and went out for breakfast.

moet steeds vragen naar baddoek, toilet artikelen en toiletpapier. uitzicht uit het raam is van het raam van de andere kamer. En het is maar 1 meter verder! Kan kamer hierdoor niet goed luchten.
